This show is fantastic. It is true to the book, and the English voice acting is superb. It's a very addicting story, and you'll want more when it's over.

How is everyone getting this deal? I have prime and am signed in but it shows 44.99 for me. Does the price change at checkout?

NM- I see that the original price is crossed out and the cost is the remaining balance after my credits are used.

The show went off the rails when they introduced the character "Near". The writing was rushed. The show was doing so well up until that point.

yes it's just one season. But don't let that turn you off it finished it's story as attended it didn't get canceled mid run or anything

I agree.

The character is introduced 2/3rd into the story. In my opinion they ought to have introduced the character midway. The balance between the pre-Near and post-Near story lines was off.
