I'm for one. I've been looking at used ones for this price.

I didn't think any of the 12v Bosch are brushless. More for compact work than power/efficiency. I'm tempted as this rarely goes on sale; I'd probably get it if I could get 2-3 tools on the 12v system, like the rotary tool - but Bosch doesn't sell that in the US.
I own 6 brushless tools of Bosch 12V: router, drill, impact driver, oscillating tool , etc

Great drill! Had one for years and loved it! Only sold it because I decided to move to the DeWalt 12v multi-head driver when they finally came out with one.

Don't think this is a great deal. The brushless model with the brushless oscillating tool goes for $150. That kit has been as low as $135 on Slickdeals.

Also the brushless version is much more powerful besides being brushless and lasting longer

Don't leave the battery on the charger after it completes charging. It will drain back down and get ruined by having too low voltage and will be difficult to recover (and even then it won't hold the charge after being recharged). Love the tools in the 12V series but the batteries and lack of a smart charging system is a downside to this system.

Bosch 12V EC line is brushless. And yes, amazon has it. The selection of their 12v is not as varied as in Europe. I just got the 12V EC brushless charmelon last year.

I've had Bosch 12v tools for a decade and never experienced this. The lithium batteries can be left on the charger if needed
