This combo is a good deal but no one here is paying $150 for that impact driver. It is a good impact driver but it isn't XR as far as I can see.

You tried and you failed. A torque test isn't the be-all and end-all. The XR line uses the most premium components which means more durable and longer lasting. And that is more important to a pro who uses their tools everyday

You didn't do any research, you just watched a youtube video. Real research would be if you conducted a 5 year long reliability study of each impact driver in the dewalt line up.

I'm past the two letters, I don't own XR. I own atomic and what I have is very good. However, it is perfectly reasonable to point out that not all the tools in a combo kit advertised as XR are actually XR.
