Its a true light roast coffee i believe its roasted and packed by Paris Coffee in Kansas City as it being dropped shipped from KS. Doesnt work well with espresso machine due to excess chaff but works perfectly with aeropress for hot or ice coffees. Dont remember seeing roasted on date but coffee seemed always fresh. Ive been buying this for a year now at reg price of $39.99 for 4 lb but now its half off.

I know you did not mean to mislead but this comes out to $39.99 for 8 lbs to order. Title leaves out that you must order qty 2 of 2 packs of 2lbs = 8lbs total. I don't need 8lbs, but could have managed 4lbs. Thanks for posting and repped!

This is good coffee! It's honestly my favorite light roast coffee. The roast does the beans justice in having the flavor come out and not only tasting the roast.

Not bad of a price if yiu are able to burn through 4 pounds of beans in a reasonable period of time. I roast my own and depending on the origin, it's about 6 dollars a pound I roasted. However, it's a mixed heirloom which doesn't tell me what exact origin it is from Ethiopia. May try it just to try it.

It's actually 8lbs. You must buy 2X2X 2lbs. I feel you.

Yep. I think it's good, has a fruity taste. Has more flavor than Starbucks blonde IMO.

I love this coffee. You probably need to enjoy light roasts though. Most grocery store coffee is super dark roast even when it says medium.

Thanks for your comment. I bought it and will still try it in my Phillips superauto. But I have a percolator and grinder for Plan B if the chaff ends up being a problem.

Is this typically carried in-warehouse? I don't recall seeing it in mine before, but I'm typically laser-focused on the price tag of non-dark roasts - just want to check before ordering online.

It's pretty rare to see it in warehouses but it does occasionally get sold there. But when I was looking up reviews the only mentions of it in warehouses were from before the pandemic so I think it could just be online now.

I hope they're not discontinuing it. Fantastic value for coffee even at full price.

Happy for this post! I bought this coffee at our Costco two weeks ago on a whim. Organic and light roast, smelled good, BUT it was the last bag. I make countertop cold brew and this is delicious! Was concerned since it was the last bag, had sign taped to it and didn't ring at register. Worried I wouldn't find more. So thanks for this post!!

Tempted as warehouse always seems to have only dark/burnt roast, but damn, that's a lot of coffee.

Would think price should be changed to $39.98.
