Couldn't decide between the GT+ for $280 or EX5s mossy oak for $320 but after watching some Youtube reviews I ended up buying the GT+. If you don't mind paying $35/month ($400/year) for the membership then the EX5s with the 22" monitor is an absolute steal! Personally I'd rather just connect my iPad via bluetooth to display the metrics in the Echelon app for free or use whatever fitness app I want. Here's a review of the GT+ for those interested

You know they could just cancel all oversold orders instead of offering replacement options....

Google "unlock echelon *bike-model* screen/tablet." You'll likely find a post on Reddit or echelon forums, that will link you to the XDA developers forum. There you'll find out how, if someone's done the work. Good odds someone has though.

I think echelon added support for some of those apps on the tablet, without figuring out a work around.

Any chance this deal comes back? Or once it's gone it's gone?

Got the same email. I didn't ask if it was the same price, I just treated it like an assumption it would be.

Got the same email - I also assumed it would be a straight exchange as they didn't mention a price difference. If that ends up being the case this is an even more insane deal.
