Loving a lot of these specs and you can use an external monitor, but why on earth would they have used a 300 nits screen for a fairly loaded gaming machine???

This stuck out as well and my guess is they expect the typical user for this machine to have it docked at home to another monitor since it has HDMI 2.1.
Thanks for the post, I just snagged one. I'm sure better deals will come out around black friday, but this is the best deal for now. The deciding factor for me was the RTX 3080ti having 16gb of vram, twice that of similarly priced RTX 4070 laptops. And machines with the new RTX 4080 cost $500-800 more, yet still don't have as much vram. This should be enough for future proof. From what I read the 40 series Frame Generation features are kind of a gimmick that trades latency for fps.

Might be a Lil late to the party. I'm totally a very casual gamer, have no interest in nitpicking the features. Having said that, could I see better deals for rtx 3080 ti on black Friday or this is very close to as low as it get.
