I bought the higher model Toshiba M550 that is discontinued. I cannot recommend a Toshiba. Lots of bugs. Had to have repair come out and replace two boards. There is still the motion issue.

Pros
- Lowest price 120hz TV you will find
- native 4k
- Price is unreal

Cons
- this thing is way underpowered to run firetv
- home screen glitches, apps don't load
- Sometimes will not power on and requires unplugging for 30 sec

Yes, this TV is all up to date on software. I'm tempted to buy a different model because of how annoying this TV is with its built in software.

Not sure of the quality, but Toshiba tv is owned by Hisense.

Any input my folks TV just died. Dont think its worth fixing any overall input?

I was considering Costco only because Costco has amazing warranties.

My dad's current insignia tv from around 2015, is very dim, not bright at all. Despite changing settings Im thinking it's not gonna last longer or not fixable issue. although I'd prefer hisense or TCL tv which ive seen around this price range
