I highly recommend the Asics personally as someone who has flat feet and has been in the shoe business a long time. Main thing is getting your size right because the denser foam in the arch needs to hit right or they will feel like crap.

I have been having issues where my sneakers - especially new balance and asics - the glue separates the rubber sole and the shoe. This seems to be happening more and more over the past few years.
I'm not sure if it's because I order them from Slickdeals. Or if the quality is that bad.
That being said, Hoka does have a stability line that is very solid. They have an Arahi model that is a really nice shoe. It will be a slightly heavier than this shoe, now we're only talking about 1.4 oz.
