Are those good enough to run small portable AC to cool the garage? Around 300 sq ft of garage space.
it can run, but only last less than 2 hr on battery power

Yes; this can do 1800W which is the maximum a portable air conditioner can use. I have one of these I use in our non-insulated shed. With a little solar input, it can run for about 4 hours with the extra battery, depending on heat. I imagine it would last most of the day if you had 500W of constant solar coming in.

My understanding is if you buy total of 3KW batteries in total, you should qualified the 30% federal credit. In other words, you don't have to buy everything in one shot, So if you buy Delta 2 and extra battery, later you can buy some other batteries to meet the 3KW requirements

Does anyone use these on a day to day basis, say to recoup a small amount of the cost via solar charging? Or just when power is out?

I use Elecaenta 200 with my River 2 Max. The Elecaenta uses XT60 connection, which is identical to what EcoFlow uses. The solar panel comes with a 10 foot XT60 to XT60 cable.

I purchased it months ago for $279, using a coupon code provided by a YouTube reviewer. Always check those videos for coupon codes hidden within the description.

I'm happy with the Elecaenta. But I've already discovered that here in Florida I need 400-500w of rigid panels in the one spot that is ideal for them. Once it turned into rainy season I've had to dash out there and rescue the Elecaenta prior to deluge.

I'm actually using it right now...drawing 155w as I type this. Rare dry day so far.
Thank you for the info!

How is it even worth it at this price? Avg price per utility kwh is $.13 so it would take over 2000 full charge cycles just to break even. And that's not even counting the price of solar

You live Texas. The rest of the country doesn't.

Debating if I want to return my Delta 2 I got for $760 for this. I'm not sure I would actually use the extra battery pack, seems kind of clunky.

Is it possible to integrate this model into a whole-home solution?

I need a system that's automated to charge during the day (microinverter solar setup) and provide power at night (instead of pulling from grid).
Basically, what would it take to create powerwall-like functionality with modular ecoflow units?
"Whole home"? Not really - this device won't do 240V, so it won't power your electric stove, central air, or other 240V circuits... but you could have a 6-circuit 120V transfer switch installed that can power a handful of select circuits (e.g. fridge, furnace, garage door opener, etc) using this.

It's not all about how much money you could save... if you don't have a use for it, that's fine... but these can provide backup power during power outages, or provide power in the middle of nowhere without needing a noisy generator.. there are tons of applications where these come in super handy for working / outdoorsy folk.

It's like $0.10 per KwH for me and I'm beating myself because I can't jump on this deal right now.
2kwh! $1000! Bonkers!
Hopefully Black Friday is kind....
All these storms are knocking power out and I just got this little 300wh battery powering 25w fans.... I'm running out of juice!

You are welcome. I tried many portable panels early this year. The two best brands were Elecaenta and Itehil. Otherwise I returned more items to Amazon in that month than during the prior 2 decades combined.

I stumbled upon this yesterday and mentioned it in a different Delta 2 thread. It was perfect timing because I had a 10% off coupon on the Home Depot credit card that was due to expire on Wednesday. I applied the coupon and paid $944 plus tax.

That felt like a Slickdeal indeed.

I had been watching Will Prowse videos recently. Consequently I had all the recommended particulars in my Amazon cart...LifePO4 battery, inverter, controller, fuse box, discharge monitor, etc.

Once I pounced on this Home Depot deal I said screw that and deleted everything.
I've been watching his videos also. I was planning on a solar system, a few of those 5kWh rack mounted batteries, and a sub panel where I could slowly move over circuits as my system grew. Not sure which is the best route. Can the EcoFlow do 240v?

I think its still a good deal - you have the benefit of the tax credit... so they likely come out to be similarly priced...I think it just depends on your use. If you plan to frequently deplete the Delta 2 AND dip into the Delta Max battery, you may opt for the deal in this thread. If you'd more regularly use the Delta 2 power only, and dip into the Max when neccesary (as in - not as often) you're probably fine
