A word of caution on these deals. I once bought from simple tire. Never again.
The tires they sent to me were 5 years old. This is how they provide most tire discounts. They don't have any sort of QC, they ship directly from different warehouse old stock tires.

They also tried to bill me to return the tires due to age, as they don't classify tire age as reason to return, at 20/tire.

They eventually accepted the return, and I left neutral feedback, noting that there is a propensity for you to get a really old tire, only for the seller to remove the feedback.

This is a fantastic trick to get old tires installed on your car without you noticing their age. Since they are shipped to the store and then mounted, their return policy does not allow a mounted tire return.

So good luck to you all, hope you don't have the same experience I did

Combined this with the instant $110 off for Pirelli tires when you order from Discount tires on ebay.

Great deal

Do you think this rebate works with online purchases from simpletire on eBay..?

So according to Ebay tracking, my tires already arrived yesterday. No email from Firestone (the place I chose to install the tires since it was only 5 mins away). Today so far, no email. I called and they said a few tires were delivered but it didn't have any info. Apparently it just said Ebay, Firestone and their address. I told them it was Hankook and the guy said "there are 4 here that was delivered from Ebay, this must be it" In my mind I'm already thinking, "this is starting to become a headache..."

What store did you select? And did you wait for the email from CarAdvise or just go into the store?

The deal becomes a potential headache. I bought the tire from SimpleTire, and the installer is pretty fresh with the deal. There is no tire installation receipt. I need to leave them info, so they could contact me later if there is any issue with the installation reimbursement. Even though I got my tires installed, it feels bitter in my mouth that the installer was pretty confused and I may need to contact eBay to resolve the issue if things go south.

I just bought the tire. Not sure how the store will know about the install when I have no receipt or way of confirming the install is free.

Oh crap. I thought I was the only person who noticed this. I ordered some Michelins from simpletire and had them installed at pep boys. Just like you assumed, I didn't check the tires before installation. The tires were over 18 months old. The tires were installed already when I checked so not much I could do. Waited over 3 hours at pep boys as the first and only customer. Complained to pep boys. They sent me out at 51psi and with a slow leak on all 4 tires because they didn't tighten the TPMS valve stems.

I figured out the slow leak after few days because it would always drop after a drive. Complained to store manager. He didn't give a sh!t.

Emailed simpletire about aged tires and they said they have no control and gave me $50 refund which I was happy with. A month later I ordered same tires for different car from costco. 1 month old. Ha.

Live and learn. Going back to Americas tire for all my tire needs

you probably forgot to add the installation.

on the tire product page you should see "Tire installation available, Find a service center near you", select the service center and click "add installation", then "add to cart", check the Coupon "FREEINSTALL", then "confirm and pay".

You need to schedule through CarAdvise, you should get a link to do that. You can't just buy tires, show up some place and expect them to install them for free? Not everything you don't understand is fake.

I just had Firestones install. They will still bill CarAdvise (which is ebay). No Payment made to Firestones ...no installation charges to customer (you).

Ordered and paid for on friday and the tires arrived on Monday. Called tireplus and picked up the tires to inspect them. Tires were manufactured in 2020 dec (51 weeks). They were bridgestone tires and made in japan.
Can't complain for the price i paid for all 4 installed ($500)

Got a message from Priority Tire on ebay saying what I ordered is out of stock - ebay stuff doesn't seem to match their website. No big deal - quick call and they upgraded me to a new set without having to pay the difference.

I want to pull the trigger but I'm not sure if simple tires will try to shoot me some old tires. Has anyone ordered from them and got new tires?
