Scren sounds awesome but Dell outlet has 4070 laptops starting around 1200. Why would this be better?

Edit: Costco has msi katana with 4070 for 1250 not Dell. Aplogies.

You answered your question. The screen is better and a lot more expensive than the one in your $1200 4070. Will I buy it? Probably no, but someone who has a demand for color and work may need it

Because those are gaming laptops and this is a creator laptop with an OLED display and control dial.

Well, a oled display of this size and 4k possibly well worth $600. Just check any oled monitor. I hardly see any below $1k for a 4k.

Should, but do they ever lower the price? I think MacBook Air with 8+256 is a garbage spec and they should sell for $500. But apple doesn't care. There are tons of people willing to pay $1k for the mba and that's how market works. It's the same for OLED. The price is still extremely high out there.

Brand new, not outlet. ANY product open box/used no matter the condition drops considerably. SD'ers know better though and mostly outlet stuff is truly like new at fraction of cost.

So for brand new, besides OLED, the dial is innovative for those who like it. It's not cheap making any unique part that deviates from norm.

Computers are dropping in price and FAST across the board. Unless you need any computer or peripherals right now, its best to wait until you do.

Every month there is a new deal which beats prior. THIS is a clear indicator to wait until you need. Not FOMO
