Every single Roku TV I've gotten has slowed considerably after a maximum of 12 months to where they become worthless. I've had to use a Chromecast to make it functional. I don't want to wait 60 seconds for Netflix to load and then have a 2 second lag when trying to select what I want to watch.
I don't exactly dis-agree with you, but when my devices start to bog down, I do a factory reset, so I get the latest updates for everything, and only put on apps I use, and it speeds it up quite a bit. Also, it depends on wifi connection, how close to router, do you have more devices on your system, how fast a router, can you use ethernet cable instead of wifi.

But it is also true, stuff can get bogged down. Most of my stuff get's reset if it gets bogged down or weird stuff starts to happen. And so far, I have roku, fire tv stuff that is 3-5 years old, and still works for me. Or I might use my PC to watch movies/tv stuff, or see if roku 4k stick, fire stick 4k max, or android tv stick improves the speed. I also watch YouTube videos that give suggestions and speeding things up.

Also, it could be device is developing a problem of some type. Since I generally buy cheap hdtv's , if I lose a hundred dollars on a tv I used for 4 years, it no longer bothers me, I have about 5 hdtv 4k's on dresser waiting to replace a failing one.

43"? Lame. They gonna have 55" or 65" on Prime Day sale?
For those buying TVs for airbnbs and corporate leasing properties, who cares it's not 55 or 65.. 43 is perfect. Easy to transport, carry up 3 flights, mount it, less likely to break

I would be possibly interested to use as a monitor but looks like it's not great at that

Thanks for the link. Ugh, no 4:4:4 chroma in 4k at all. Useless as a monitor. I'm not going to bother.

Isnt crazy how people have to be "invited" to spend their money? I would get it if it was a small company or an in person sale to, ya know, prevent accidents or keep servers from being overloaded but Amazon? Its quite silly, and I agree with a different comment. I requested an invite for a PS5 and they never got back to me. Ended up getting one from Sony Direct thanks to another post on here i believe.
Invitations keep scumball botters from selling 10,000 43" tvs on ebay while you get none.

I'm fine with them, so are a lot of other folks who don't want to have to bot to get something.

Still have this 55" unopened in my garage, ready for any TV emergency
Unopened? What is it doesn't power on or has some internal damage you didn't know about all this time?
