As I was also debating 7 vs 8.. the 7' is now gone. So I went with an 8 😃

Perfect timing! I was looking for a rod to use off the pier in San Francisco. What is a good rig for bait fish to accompany it? I see people just jiggin with Sabiki hooks, but what is the full setup needed.

You'd be on a boat for tuna fishing. These rods are for surf or pier fishing. You need something heavy duty but not good for casting far.
