There are probably a couple very specific use cases for this, but almost everyone would be much better off with one of these for less money:

There's some pretty funny YouTube videos of people trying these out. They can actually catch fish although the build quality is iffy.

The Ugly Stik comes with a cheap plastic reel that has held up well for panfish in my experience.

The Sougayilang will need a reel added. I like Okuma for lightweight budget reels. The Okuma Avenger is excellent when you find them on sale.

I've got a telescopic fishing rod and it's awesome. I have no complaints and it's cheap enough to keep a spare in the trunk if it ever breaks.
