Product is absolutely not good for backyard bonfires and fire pits.

Please do not burn things in or on galvanized metal. It will make you extremely ill.

From my reading on the subject, just for gardening, it's perfectly safe.

I want to say its pretty small - 4'x2'x1'

Maybe helpful for folks who have smaller backyard or want to grow fewer veggies.

product is also good for backyard bonfires, and the fire pits, when they are named "firepits" and not raised garden bed, go for much more money. Like 10x more money And yes, often they are the exact same product, or *very* similar. Just drill a bunch of evenly space air intake holes, and it'll start faster and burn hotter

I own one of every size solo stove, and a couple knockoffs, after having use a burn barrel and at one point an oil tank.

Horrible idea to use galvanized anything for this purpose.

Anyone interested in using this to burn anything in, please look up Galvanize poisoning.

Wondering whether galvanized steel toxicity will end up in veggies as well.

Galvanize fumes aside. . You burn in this, and it won't take long for this to be a pile of rust.

The 4x8 was on a flash sale a couple days ago for $59 and we almost bit. However, the measurement was "maximum 4'" by "maximum 8'" using various configurations. But you couldn't do a 4x8 at the same time, it was a little odd.

Decided to go with DIY wooden version with legs and maybe casters.

My yard cats would treat it as a fancy litter box.
