I got this in March for $46 it's held up pretty good. We abuse our with bacon and other messy foods. We've decided they are disposable but indispensable. May get one as a backup. Prob get a year of heavy daily use/abuse.

How is the coating on the tray? My current one, although different model, is peeling. Yes I know, I can just get a new one, or get a liner, but curious how it's holding up?

It's better than the last cheapo I had, which flaked off in a month. I've been using this about 4 times a week since March, no coating/paint issues. Actually impressed for the price. If I knew about the Costco I would have gone a little bigger for the family, get less overlap too.

I have a different Gourmia model and have been thoroughly impressed with how well the coating has held up compared to other brands I've owned. Of course you can't abuse them...no metal utensils and always wash by hand/plastic brush but with not much else it's lasted 4 years with lots of use. Taken the same care with others and they still failed and flaked after a very short period of time.
I've never had an air fryer. Do they get hot to the touch? Thank you.
After usage it gets hot. You should treat it like a hot pan when you pull out the tray. I set the basket on oven mitts when taking the food out. You'll feel the heat on the metal parts. Let it cool before cleaning it.

I got an air fryer counter top protector from Amazon warehouse for $12.
Air fryer safety is the first concern when it comes to placing the appliance. A countertop with plenty of clearance above and to the sides is a great spot for an air fryer. Air fryers can generate a lot of heat, so you don't want them too close to walls or cabinets.

I love chicken wings but never eat them at restaurants due to being extremely unhealthy. Deep fried in overused oil and then dip into fatty sauces big no no. Then i got air fryer recently (not this model) and chicken wing all day everyday! Zero oil usage and then dry the rendered fat outta wings FTW
