Power supplies get cooling from the bottom of the case, that shroud only has a noticeable impact on gpu thermals if there's no holes or openings to allow air to go through. Unless you are using a crap psu, most should not have an overheating issue, at least not to the point where that shroud makes any meaningful difference as the bottom fan pushes air through the psu and out the back of the pc.

Some people like the cleaner look. For me I like to show off my tier 2 ps 😅. But I am glad that manufacturers placed the ps at the bottom instead of the top. Took them a while to figure that out.

Why do they continue to put that dumb shroud over the PS?
Just bakes the PS, do away that shroud.

PSU fan side faces down. Drawing cool air from bottom of the case. Many good psu have fan that doesn't spin until certain load or temp. The design is fine. Top mount psu isn't common anymore.

I built 2 PCs for my friends using this case. Very easy to build in with tool less panel. AIO or Air cooling this case handle it no problems with tons of air flow, it also has 1 fan at the bottom to keep GPU cool.
Keep in mind this case is for showing off your components. You can not mount GPU as traditional horizontal (unless your GPU is really small). It must be vertical.

I know they're hardly used these days, but do they still make cases with CD ROM slots?

Use a plasma cutter to remove it. 🙂

This is actually more efficient than a typical open case design where all of the components are just moving air around to each other.

They're directing fresh air in and letting it exhaust immediately with a radiant barrier in between for any ambient leaks.

The only way this could be improved is to put the PSU at the top and route a vent for the intake toward the front, but that kind of case modding hasn't been done for 15 years and PSUs are way more efficient now.

The design is fine. What are you doing to burn out PSUs prematurely?

I like the looks of the case. Here is a link that has timestamps to speed up your own decision. GN gave a good review pitting this against the Hyte Y60. I was going to pull the trigger until I watched this. There were a slew of cases with a similar style that was just reviewed at Computex that will be coming to market soon-ish and at a more attractive price and including more case fans.

As someone who recently built in this case, please keep in mind that it's a hot box.

It looks great, but keeping thermals in check without the case fans really ramping up (and thus being loud) is a challenge.

The case it built well with nice features, but air flow is not one of them.
