Overall, it has a couple of dings on the corner but hasn't started coming apart like others have mention. It has held up pretty well under normal use. The petina doesn't look good at all to me though.
Good price. This is the only color that looks ok when aging since Apple uses a cheap coated leather that chips instead of patinas. Their leather cases fit well and are slim compared to other leather.
Silicone cases are 24.50 also.

Bought this case when the phone first came out. It ripped between the screen and power button and the stringy fibers would cover part of the screen and I would constantly be tucking them back in to the side. That was after just 2-3 months of normal use.
I also didn't like how you see the metal sides of the phone around the screen with the case on. Just personal annoyance but I prefer the aesthetic of it covered.
The leather does show scratches as well and doesn't patina well. Overall just not a good case in my opinion.

Exactly my experience. Went through three in about a year.

$29.50 is good price for cheap coated leather case?

There's not many leather cases at this price anyway, so if you want this Apple MagSafe one, sure. I prefer my Ryan of London/BullStrap cases but they aren't budget cases either - better leather but bulkier and still not this cheap unless on late sales.

Same experience. Funny thing is this case comes with 1-year warranty. When I took the case to multiple Apple stores they all denied warranty stating any damage to the case is not covered by warranty.

So, what was covered by warranty? I feel like that needs to be handled by small claims or FTC should look into it. If nothing is covered by warranty, that's misleading advertising.

I asked the same question. Their sales rep/specialists all said basically any defect that's inside of the case may be covered by warranty.
My fav case is a cheap $7 poetic case from Amazon, the leather case did not last then bought the silicon case that would trap dirt at the edges and super tight the bezels almost started peeling the paint off. After spending $100 for shit apple cases I bought the $7 case and not only it looks and feels good quite a bit protective with the 2 layers.
