U8H has ghosting / poor motion handling and horrible color banding in most content, although in some modes it is less noticeable. The 120 Hz mode is kinda crappy for gaming, most users run it at 60 Hz to get a good picture for gaming.

Also, Hisense is known for poor QA/QC so not really the best brand to get for 2022 TVs. Not sure how reliable the 2023 models will be. The only thing we know for sure is the 2023 K models will have MUCH improved processing (with a more powerful processor) which significantly reduces any visible color banding inherent in the 8 bit panel.

I have the 86" version of this TV and it is amazing! I wish there were more dimming zones but the mini LED makes HDR content look spectacular.

Specs on LG.com and Rtings.com say the "UQA" version in this thread does not include NEXTGEN TV, but LG.com says the "AQA" version sold in warehouses (Costco, Sam's, BJ's) does.

Having a hard time deciding between this and a Hisense U8H. It'll be in a very bright room and would prefer a wide viewing angle but seems like the Hisense is better

what does a TV have to do and have to get over a 9.0 on RTINGS?? this TV is "only" 8.1 and the LG C3 OLED is "only" 8.8

U8H roasts this TV even rtings has it as the closest thing to oled and one of the brightest tvs on planet earth
