Have both and they're more or less comparable in terms of speed. However, SD has extra 2 years of warranty if that sways you.

Shield and Extreme v2 have comparable sustained speeds. The v1 extreme is the slower drive.

Working fine for me. This is way more space than you need. Get a smaller capacity version and save some money. Sentry mode isn't 4K or anything and it doesn't need much space.
