Does this work with motion sensors to turn the sprinklers on when dogs are pooping in my yard

Check with your city if they offer these. Mine offers both the 8 and 16 Rachio 3's for only $35 for residents

Only requirement is they wanted a verification pic after it was delivered.

Got this over the winter from woot. Great deal works perfect. So much easier working on heads with this vs a traditional controller

How does this compare to the cheap $65 wyze sprinkler controller? I only need 6 zones.

I use Wyze and nothing to complain about. Replaced a old rainbird and made scheduling a breeze.

Also check your local water authority for any applicable water saving rebate. I got a $105 rebate in SoCal for this irrigation controller.

Yes it's the same one! There's only one rachio 3, 12 zone model

Guess that means it has the Costco exclusive yard map feature. Doesn't seem like a big deal but this is cheaper than the 8 zone without it
