Why would anyone thumbs up this? Low resolution, ancient and power hungry hardware, and it's not even a new old stock unit, it's "refurbished."
It's pretty good at this price. 1TB SSD is great too

No, it's not a great price. SSDs are dirt cheap now.

This has an ancient and power hungry CPU, and the screen is shockingly low resolution for 15.6" form factor.

Yeah Samsung hasn't done any EDU deals for the Galaxy book two line like this gen 1 version where it was 500 something dollars. Deals have been lacking on the Samsung site since last summer

Well, all current Intel cpus 11, 12 and 13th gen are also power hungry. You may need to look at AMD Ryzen 6 or 7 gen for better power efficiency

1920x1080 is not that low resolution for 15inch laptop - definitely helps with battery life given it's intel processor. But 1920x1200 would be better for productivity

Shockingly low? 1440p screens on laptops are not that common or even necessary and 4K is dumb for 15.6" screens. Don't think I'd even care for such a small screen, you don't even see much benefit for going above 1080p on laptops. You're just wasting money at that point.

Bizarre that two people are defending an overpriced and used laptop, that has 2 year old hardware in it, which consumes significantly more energy than anything more modern, due in part to lacking efficiency cores.

Newegg employees?

1920x1080 is shockingly low on a used system for what was once a premium computer 2 years ago. If this was 5:4 ratio, it would get a pass, but it's not even that.
Sub $500 chromebooks have higher resolutions today, why are you two defending this terrible deal?
