It's incredible how much these have shot up in price over the last 5-6 years. I recall this being the retail price. But based on recent pricing this is a fantastic deal.

Yes, it's absolutely absurd every time I find a deal but it's the price from 2019. Better than nothing but frustrating for sure.

Yup, I Paid $450 for mine on 4/8/20. Mine came in with fan cover and fan smashed in. Powermatic sent me new parts no problem.

I think I spent more time making a custom stand for it and the chisel bits than i did using the machine. Yes, i only used it once lol.

I had no idea what this was, but, yeah. Can't post a link, but if you Google it there are a bunch of videos showing use to notch out square and rectangle sections or create channels...

That's what I am concerned about. Great buy, but I did WWing for 25 years without one; maybe I don't need one.

Yeah, I use mine for deeper mortises than my router will go. It's also nice that you don't need to hand chisel out any rounded cuts with the router.

Mortisers are pretty nice but honestly a drill press and a decent chisel work incredibly well.
