If you're convenience oriented, get this bundle. If you're looking for a deeper soundscape, the fp30x. Can't go wrong with either. Same action.
i totally confused now!
i think i would've hopped on this deal as i've been eyeing the roland fp-10 for a while and it's quite popular on the internet (but you have to be wary of paid reviews these days..). however, i heard the piano stands and seats aren't that good because they are not adjustable. any insights on this?
EDIT: just noticed there is S&H of $70, which is a deal breaker for me. has anyone noticed if they actually carried these in-stores without the S&H?

1. B2SP
2. FP-10
3. P45
That's also the order of features but that's normal, you get more features the newer the equipment.
In my opinion the ancient P45 is hot garbage that anyone serious about the instrument will grow out of quickly.
The Roland has the better name and a decent feature set.
The Korgs feature set is only slightly better than the Roland, but they are still said to be built in Japan, so the quality is probably very good.
As for the piano bench, most lower end setups like this will not have an adjustable bench, but I do highly recommend buying a better bench later on.
It might be worth the risk on the newer Korg if it is a close match for price on the Roland.
Personally I would just grab the Yamaha DGX-670 and then you will have something to take you well into your piano learning journey.

A Yamaha P125 or Kawai ES110 is a solid choice for a piano student. If you want a console piano, watch for a Casio PX770 to go on sale (Amazon drops the white one to $550 pretty often) or Kawai KDP75.
Yamaha DGX770 or an Arius is a great choice if you want to put in a little more money.

I'm resuming as a semi-beginner after having played to an intermediate level decades ago. I'm satisfied with the piano. Yes, the pedal is cheap but for a very good reason. I tried the upgraded pedal but because the piano is so shallow, if you place the piano against a wall, the pedal extends too far and you have to awkwardly bend your knee back to press it. You'd have to pull the piano out at least 6 inches to properly position the pedal. With the cheap bundled pedal, you can place the piano and pedal against a wall and it'll be in the normal position.
I bought the elastic Roland piano cover and it just barely works but obviously wasn't meant to be used with this bundle. There's nothing for the cover to latch on to so it just precariously holds on for its dear life.
