But to answer your question, fabrics are much more comfortable to sleep on than sticky plastic. That said, fabrics do absorb sweat do you might want to place a sheet over it. Sweat won't be a problem if you wear pajamas and the night is cool. But if you use sheets, then plastic is just as comfortable. So it comes down to durability and for my lifestyle, linen wins. If you tend to spill stuff, then plastic might be better.

They also have linen. I got the dark grey.
Our friend called it fox leather. She wouldn't touch it at the store, poor little fauxes

Yeah I was already passively looking at others of this similar size for my "Mancave/gaming room" my new place and this price undercuts the hell out of everything in it's size class. Probably for a reason, but reviews be damned, I'll give it a shot lol. I picked up the gray linen one (hell no to leather in FL humidity) from Amazon and they say the color looks more denim too (which is what I was going for if anything).
That's what I'm getting it for.
For the price, don't worry about tossing it in a couple of years after kids destroy it.
Better than paying triple for rooms to go to do the same thing.

Exactly and I figure since it'll be mostly used by me and the occasional guest staying overnight, it should be able to hold up if I just use it as intended and keep it away from my SO's cats! Haha
