this is an amazing deal if you make a lot of ice tea like we do.
Luzianne is nearly as good as Tetley selling at Indian grocers
for $5 per 450grams, so under $2 SnS for 680g is amazing.
ignore the gallon baggies, you can always break them open
and spoon out as much loose tea as you need.

I ordered a couple anyway. Lots of times Amazon will stretch wait times if there are a lot of orders until inventory levels stabalize. I'll probably have it in a week.

Pack of 6 is 6 ounce packages.... pack of 1 is 24 ounces. Big difference in amount per package.

Even cheaper than the 48 gallon size Lipton deal that was around for $5-6 earlier this year, and I'm still working on those. This is a great deal.

This is my staple for sweet tea.

One family size bag and a little more than 1/3 cup sugar per quart of finished tea.

I bring to a boil 2.5 quarts with 3 tea bags, then let it brew and cool down. I let steep around 2 hours. Add 1 cup of sugar to the pitcher and then pour in the tea. Add water to increase to a total of 3 quarts. Cool in fridge.

I realize most people say to let it steep only 10-15 minutes, but the tea needs time to brew.

Letting it steep does increase the bitterness, but that's what the sugar is for.

Brewing longer adds fullness and deeper color to the tea. The tea lacks flavor after only 10-15 minutes.

I like mine over ice, but the family likes it straight when cold.

BTW, Walmart has the 48 pack for $4.28.

Cheers!

Those are the quart size bags, these are gallon size. So half the tea and twice the price of one of these boxes.

indian chai is any flavorful black tea with a lot of
spice, sweet and dairy added, so i don't see why not.
if you want something cheap with typical indian black
flavor notes i would get tetley loose or pg tips black,
both are bulk sellers at the indian grocer i frequent.
