As I just got the hellhound 7900 xtx, I just wanna warn you guys that the coil whine is real. It sounds like a bug buzzing sound. If you have your desktop on top of the desk like mine, just make sure you're okay with that sound. It's quite noticeable.

Exactly. If I want a sweet picture of my gear, I bump the settings up.

Also worth noting, D4 looks good with HDR. Sure, Inarius will literally blind you whenever he walks into frame, but it's worth it.

I don't know for sure but looking at some of the reviews for the red devil cards they also mention coil whine as an issue.

I'm just tryna hold for a fully legit 4k card for $500. If these get down to like $600 I might have to go for it though.

Closest to my goal (over 60fps on modern titles, 16gb VRAM) so far was the 6900 XT for $580. Doesn't look like there's any hope for the current gen to deliver. Maybe RDNA 4 Frown

Looks to be a defect with many 7900 xt models, if not the heatpipe as well.
