I could also get a 12000 btu midea u shaped smart inverter window ac, and put the entire unit inside the window, and easily tape a side inlet for outside air going through the left side of the outside side grill, which is the part that is needed to cool of the compressor, so that it doesnt thermally shut off. And then block off most of the other vents, to allow just a little hot heat to be pumped out of the upstairs 90+ degree inferno.
What do you guys think?
Lastly, I could also just raise my current single hose onto a 5 foot shelf, not install the hose, and just allow it to blow all the heat outside, while also being able to suck the outside air in. But it doesnt have an inverter dang it.
I wish my Central AC upstairs and downstairs unit didnt pump a bunch of heat backwards out of the return air vents. In order to block them, I must have 3 small acs to compete, in my 3300 sq foot home.
I suppose next year I will take the plunge, and install a few of those mini split systems myself. Its only my mom and I who live there.

"Hello,
I sincerely apologize, we had an error on our receiving that caused the Toshiba 14k unit to be labeled as new. This is a Factory Refurbished model, and is not brand new. Your order has not shipped yet, and we just wanted to make sure you were aware of the issue, and give you the option to cancel the order if needed. In the meantime, we have taken down our listing and contacted slickdeals to let them know of our mistake.
If you would like to keep your order, you are protected from anything that could be wrong with the air conditioner with our 30 day guarantee (from the date received), and you are also able to purchase an extended warranty through CPS warranty to guarantee your product for 1+ years if needed.
If helpful just to show you are still getting best of web pricing, this deal was available through woot at a higher price on 6/16 here-"
Must be a real pattern with them!
