Funny looking at the review pics people say the glass is easy to shatter but looks like they forgot to put their umbrellas down. One guy posted the table made a 10ft fall off his deck and glass landed on the umbrella and didn't break.

Just going off the pics I could see where stability might be an issue with an umbrella and cause damage since there is no additional support on those legs that extends to further support the umbrella as most patio tables do.

Then again, it's a $49 table so...

Just bought this and I'm happy with it. I wouldn't put an umbrella in the middle though, since it looks like it's a design flaw where the whole thing twists and cracks, like an ice tray if there's wind. I planned on putting a little table top lantern there anyways. It's exactly what I needed for $49. Chairs are on sale at Lowe's now too for about $50/ea.

I just bought and setup this table. Definitely not the best table I've ever bought, but definitely the best table I ever bought for $50. I dropped it from a few inches while setting up legs and it didn't break so that is good news! Setup was very quick.
