FYI, luggage warranty is not as great as it seems. Had a pair of Samsonite hardshell luggages, and both sets' wheels started falling apart. They were under 10 year warranty, but Samsonite requires that you ship it to them - at your own expense - for them to assess whether or not the damage is considered covered by their warranty. If so, they'll repair and ship it back to you. If not, you'll have to pay for return shipping as well. At the price it costs to ship the luggages to them and risk having to argue with them about whether or not the damage is covered, I might as well buy a cheap set from somewhere like Ross and just chuck and replace it when that breaks.

It's not just Samsonite that's like that with their deceptive "warranties". Most others are like that as well except for 1 or 2 really expensive companies that do include shipping to/from their warranty centers, but you'd be paying over $200 per piece.

Cool in for one. I like the combo of only small and large sizes.

edit: ended up canceling. Costco seems to have better options for less.

Good for 21 - carry on, but bad for 28. The material is light but not durable- for the abuse of checked luggage. Also watch out 21', some flight do not allow it for carryon.

"This bag comes with a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship."

I want to see the warranty against breakage not workmanship and defects.

This is fine for an infrequent traveler, but to be honest, I have been disappointed in most Samsonite bags I have purchased. They always seem to wear out or fail quicker than other bags I have purchased.

I was really happy with eBags, that is until Samsonite purchased the company several years ago. Their stuff took a nosedive in quality and hasn't been the same since. E.g. they used to use ykk zippers, now they're just generic cheapo ones.

I have the 28 inch bag and love how light it is compared to other bags of similar size @ only 9.59lbs
