I bought one of these last year for about 50 bucks and it's my favorite cooler of all that I own, about 10. If you are on the fence do it.

I'm surprised to find that I use this one more regularly than any other cooler I have. It's much lighter than the rotomolded ones and most of the time, I just need things cold for a day or two.

Great deal - bought one when it went FP about a year ago. This is a great price for what you get. I especially love how you can hear the lid seal when you price the gasket lined lid closed and you hear this slight "whoosh" of air as you close the lid.

So if it holds 26 cans probably 24 with ice? Is it tall enough to stand a 2 liter up in it?

This is our primary cooler to use for kids baseball tournaments. It keeps everything cold even in 100+ temperatures. At this price, it is a no brainer. I would get a 2nd if I don't have too many other coolers already.

Does not look like it has a drain plug so if it gets airlocked you will have to pry it open

Yes, a 2L or 1.25L stands up straight inside. Take a water bottle and freeze it and use a few quart sized ziplock bags of ice so you can actually make use of your ice packs to both drink and use for ice in your drinks (unless you're bringing alcohol, ofc).

Really doubt the tolerances on this are going to be tight enough for that to happen.

I love cooler deals. It makes me dream about being outside with a cold drink. I look at about every cooler deal and consider it, even though I have many coolers in my house. Just two quick thoughts: 1. Why do they make these things with a dark color. That obviously is a disadvantage in the summer heat. 2. I would buy a $300 Yeti if it was made in the USA but it's made in China too. Thanks for the deal OP.
