Actually, this worked perfectly for me. I was able to get the price match with Home Depot while chatting online with their customer support. Didn't have to go to the store or call, just showed them the BJ's link in the chat and they price matched.

Tried to price match but when they put it in the cart with shipping, it was cheaper to just buy through Home Depot since shipping to my house was like $150. They wouldn't do free shipping.

Definitely YMMV but if chat doesn't work, just call and order over the phone. I didn't encounter any obstacles, but if you do, wait a few minutes and call back to get a new agent.

As long as you're polite and friendly, getting these type of deals has never been a problem.

I assume you price matched either online or via phone. I'm curious if you had any issues with the rep applying the 15% off? Was this a coupon you had emailed or mailed to you? Or did you purchase this coupon from a site?

Got the Oakford 1000 on sale and the 2nd time I used it threw ER2 error. Basically, the auger stopped feeding pellets while I was smoking a brisket. Motor was turning but the auger did not have enough torque to break the pellets at the entrance to the feeding tube and it would just get stuck. Since my wife was cooking in the oven for the party, I could not finish it in the oven so I had to empty the pellet box and feed it by hand and clear the obstructions with a flat head screwdriver each time it would stop turning for the next 3h. Called customer service the next day, auger is not serviceable, returned to Home Depot (without box), got my money back. The app DOES NOT alert you of any errors. I asked what would happen if it has this problem after the 90 days HD return window but within the manufacturer's warranty. Nexgrill rep said that they will work with the store to accept the return and refund a PRORATED amount! Clearly, not something I want to deal with on a $750 grill so I went to Costco and got a Traeger Redland 620, at least I can get the purchase price refunded if something goes wrong.
