but in general, it's a way for audio to be more immersive and have vertical sound. true Atmos needs speakers in the ceilings, but many sound bars can simulate atmos by having upfiring speakers that will bounce sounds from the ceiling back down, simulating Atmos speakers.

Sonos has a great platform and expansion opportunities down the road. I LOVE my Sonos ARC, Sub, surrounds setup but you can't compare $1,600 to $300. But this standalone Soundbar was my second favorite option when originally shopping for a system.

I paid $450 in January on the costco deal then. I'd say for $300 its it's not bad. I use it all the time because my Sony TV sound sucks.
