Honestly, I had the V6 and upgraded to this one about a month ago and am blown away by the difference. There are 3 options for suction strength - economy, auto or boost and the boost has such a powerful suction on carpet. I also love the head with the green light for wood floor showing every single speck of dust or crumb. It is shocking what you can see with the green light.

Button activated and not trigger activated like the V15. Gen5 design is somewhat questionable in that regard and it seems like v15.5 than a whole different vacuum model. Price increase definitely not worth it
