For the record, my last Sapphire Preferred bonus was May 2019. I product changed to a Freedom Unlimited this morning then got the denial message signing up for this 80k bonus.
When you do the product change it takes 3-5 business days in their system to recognize that. So for all practical purpose the system thinks you still have a Saphire card and so denied you.
What was the rush to apply the card after doing the product change this am? This is not a limited stock clearance item.
This is rookie mistake. Wait for 5 days and reapply
