Why did someone thumbs down this? Refurbished deal from a week ago got a bunch of thumbs up and was a hot deal. This is opened box. Got to be better than refurbished! Thumbs up! Bought a pair to replace my Sony M3 model

Yeah I tried QC45 prior to buying a set of these. Almost everything is better about these. The Bose only compare in comfort. This has a better app, better sound quality, better noise cancelling etc. The Bose wins on how it folds up and travels well w/ a smaller case.

Finally get to upgrade my XM2s, which i bought ebay open box in 2018 and they're still going strong, and still love 'em.

Any folks with limited bag space, the 4s are rated as almost as good and still fold up.

Wouldn't mind having both but I already have the surface headphones as my other set for work (manual controls area awesome)

I had the XM4s, love the portability. They weren't quite as good for phone/Zoom calls when there was background noise.

Concerns about the build quality of the XM5 have been raised by some reviewers. The The thin telescoping portion of the headband is said to be prone to cracking. It's a more delicate design than earlier models.
