Lg compressor issues are fixed. Stop spreading misinformation. Additionally its 10 year warranty on compressor and 5 year parts and labor on sealed system, 2 year costco warranty on everything as well. Buy their 5 year all state warranty and use a Sapphire card for 1 year extended warranty if so concerned.

Both ice makers replaced and I am on my 2nd compressor in 2 years. Stay away from this one even if it drops to $500. Total POS.

LG compressor issues are not fixed. I have 2019 LG fridge with nothing but problems. Thankfully I bought extended warranty. Would never buy LG fridge again.

I have this same fridge, just the Lowe's version. Just had the compressor replaced after 10 months. Luckily it was covered under warranty. Took a week from the time I contacted LG to today to get the fix. Not thrilled, of course. I paid about $2300 for mine. Outside of the compressor issue, we love the fridge.

My sister had all the nightmare issues with an LG fridge 2 years ago, all related to compressor, and yes, all the repairmen told her do not try to repair, the replacement compressor will have issues.

She did a lot of research, found the most reliable brand was Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool (same company). she has had no issues with new fridge.

Some of the 1 star reviews stated metallic taste from the ice cubes. But water tastes fine.....id probably stick to whirl pool brand or any other brand

I really want this fridge at this price, but I can't take delivery until August 5th at the earliest. Anyone have any idea how to buy this and stall them for a few weeks? Latest delivery I can select right now is July 15th.

I bought it. Also skeptical on the reliability and review issues but LG is quick to fix their products. This one has had a few revisions. I'll take the chance since my Kenmore only lasted 5 years
