Balls will expand slightly with first play
New enhanced VST (Visual Spin Technology) uses strategic color variance and a vibrant palette to increase spin detection for the ball in all outdoor environments

Shipping is free for most regions (UPS)
This is $10.98 cheaper than the next best price (Amazon/Walmart)
have this, like it very much. i would say it's equal to the mikasa beach pro but (IMHO) the wilson is longer lasting. i paid $80 for this ball a few months ago and feel that it is well worth it
my last wilson $80 ball (same price for last 15 years) is still usable after 10 years of healthy sand league usage.
my mikasa is ~5 years old and is in worse condition (the rounded shoulders of each panel are scratched off and fuzzy rendering it undesirable to play with.
also - i prefer the yellow to be able to track the ball against differing backgrounds

Even Wilson has gone woke in the remake, with some yellow guy now instead of the white guy. Unwatchable! (100% sarcasm, in case it wasn't completely clear)
Yep, this is like the main ball for beach. The kob one is super rubbery/grippy compared to AVP.
I don't think there really is a "main" ball. Europeans imo play mikasa vls3000, a lot of people play the Wilson, but then there are literal KOB only tournaments that are huge, so people will only play with that to warm up/get used to it.
And then there's the church leagues/family bbqs that use some 5$ synthetic garbage from Walmart.
These were sold out for a while though, so I'm happy to see a sale on these —thanks for the post OP.

It's sad how much worse these yellow/orange/black balls are than the old model yellow and white ones. I'd put these at about the same level as the black/white King of the Beach balls.
The best beach volleyballs are, by far, the older (maybe mid-2000s to early 2020s) yellow/white Wilsons. Those had the perfect texture, perfect size, perfect weight. This new model is smaller/denser, simply not as fun to play with. Yes, you can adjust to different balls, but if you're spending $60+ on a ball, it's because you know how to play and know what you want.

I agree, my yellow and white was much softer. Bought the OPTX during a winter sale and is not as soft as all the other OPTX balls I've used during league play. Hoping it would soften up during play but not the case, guess I got stuck with a bad one. Also bought directly from Wilson.

Seems more common than kob in my hood
