This is more than I need. But what about the fan noise? I want to use it for work and also need to teleconference. Can it do this or is it better for gaming?

The slim pro line is geared towards productivity but can handle casual gaming. Definitely more of a productivity workhorse though.

I recently tried the slim pro 7 with the 3050 and it was a fantastic productivity laptop, great size (for me), good screen, decent battery life…this is just bigger and better in most aspects.

I've seen the Costco version of this in-person and the screen is amazing and the trackpad is huge. Webcam is much better than most of the competition (maybe all) for whoever needs that. But damn, that mini-led screen is just gorgeous. I wish the 14" had that screen….

1200 nits 😮. Do your eyeballs catch on fire if you turn the brightness all the way up?

I have a 1000 nit TV which is already almost excessive but I sit 12 feet away from that thing. I can't imagine being 12 inches from this.
When you play HDR movies, stay at some distance to the screen.

Amazing nits screen!!! I really wish this kind of brightness was in all laptops. It would defeat the whole useless in direct sunlight complaint.

Ummm do you see the price? A mini LED panel doesn't come cheap. We don't even have OLED in every laptop.

Showing $1999 at checkout with no taxes, then bumps to $2100 after order submitted. Anyone actually get this for $1800?

I am planning to get this one but it's currently on backorder. Anyone knows when they will restock?
