Oh, and imagine how much the swap file is being used.
Just pay like 1,500 more and you can get yourself a m2 pro max 16" 12 core cpu 38 core Gpu 1tb sd from the Apple Store and that MacBook is going to last you longer production wise than this one. Well depends on what you use it for. I'll be editing videos and using digital audio workstations so I need the power.
Just add a little. Just double the price. lol

I've had a base model 15" Air the last few weeks and it has been great! I'd upgrade the RAM at least if I was gonna keep it until it died but I upgrade every 2 years so I'll keep the $$$ for the next greatest thing haha. Highly recommend the M2 Airs if you're not a "Pro" lol.

Me too got 16/512 m2 15 inch for 1450 with 150 apple gift card. Speakers are nice can really notice the female moaning and the hemorrhoids are also very noticeable as well on close ups.
Is Air m2/16/512 good enough for 4 years of college (CS major at UW Madison)?

You can also go into Apple Store and ask the employees. Ask 3 different ones. See if you get different answers. I behave like a college kid but I certainly am not.
