If this is the fashion you desire, then yes. Otherwise I'm not seeing this as a noteworthy deal.
For example regarding mostly functionality, this simple 2-pocket (600-denier polyester) $20 JanSport "Fifth Avenue" fanny pack has a 4.8 out of 5 approval rating at Amazon, with over 7,000 ratings counted.

If there was ever an example of fashion being cyclical, this might be it. I remember the late 90's when fanny packs were the epitome of faux pas and here they are being sold at 40$ with a different name.

I have been using fanny packs forever and love it. And yes, they have been trying to rebrand them forever. First with the hip purse. I'm all in with them being IN again. Agree, we know them as fanny packs Smilie
Also, belt bag reminds me more of the running belts with pockets, tiny fanny packs

They are ok! They are comfortable and easy to access things. I even have one I use for walking the dog with baggies, keys, hand sanitizer, treats... And no, I don't mean this one. No way I'm paying $40 for a fanny pack. But love the use of them

Interestingly, I and others made some points about keeping discussion focused on the deal and not making low effort posts that promote stealing, and those got removed. Yet the pro-theft posts remain.

Anyways, about the item, the price is good for a "high end" fanny pack at that size. The Fjallraven or Patagonia alternatives are about this price. It is not a good price if you just want a regular fanny pack. The one issue I have with these is they don't have enough pockets, others in this range will also have a secret back pocket.
