lol there seems to be some lost in translation and understanding

that is made with glutinous/sweet rice. Yes, it is also sticky. And also called sticky rice. But it is a whole different type of rice grain. And the only rice that doesn't really stick naturally is basmati and whatever uncle Bens is.

And Jasmine rice is the midway point for stickiness and grain length

To the rest of the potato-starchers in the thread: This is just general purpose rice that is consumed by East and most Southeast Asians

Yes, this rice can be used for sushi, but it technically wouldn't be sushi rice until it is prepped/seasoned with rice vinegar and some sugar. Nishiki also sells the bottle of sushi rice vinegar that pairs with this lol
