Ordered this twice and neither of my orders has shown up in my accounts order summary nor have I received an email for an order confirmation. However, it shows up as pending on my CC. Anyone else having this issue?

How is the firmware on these? Are there 3rd party options?

I really need something that supports assigning a VPN to specific devices.

I'm considering getting this as the only router (no mesh nodes) for a 1000 sqft apartment and a <1gbps link. The reviews don't seem too encouraging, but I thought for these basic requirements and at $100, this could be a good choice. Any thoughts?

Tempted to replace my Linksys MR9000 but don't know if it would affect anything that much without also replacing my 3 wifi5 Velop nodes. I have 1000 Mbps cable internet service. Thoughts?

Mesh aside, how is this router as a plain old household router?

Only 2x2 antennas on 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands... Meh. Look for something with a 4x4 antenna on the 5ghz band. All your 5ghz devices will be much happier and speedier using mu-mimo. I'm going to wait for wifi 7. This is a good price though.

I ordered mine about 4 hours ago. I got Order Confirmation email from Linksys within couple of minutes ordering.

Weird way to say 90 days, does it support hardwired backhauling?
Yes, you can back haul to another Linksys router for mesh.

Any DD-WRT or open source firmware support for this router?

I have this router and I hate it. It struggles to support 25 devices spread over 2300 sq feet area. I spend $320 on it just to be on the bleeding edge of 6 GHZ, but regret that purchase. I am currently evaluating routers so I can finally retire this POS and get some decent coverage across the home.
