We just bought all the pieces in the UPPAbaby ecosystem, expecting a baby next month. Would highly advise to check FB marketplace and others like OfferUp, mercari for used stuff. Brand new this whole kit can get very expensive. I believe we paid about 700 for two seats, two bases, bassinet plus stand, and the stroller. All 1-2 years old. Make sure it's all V2 stuff. The bassinet and stand were around since 2010 I believe. V2 started in 2015 I think, and they're not compatible with v1.
prices can vary dramatically depending on your local market, some people are giving this stuff away, especially if you live in low demand areas. Bulky size and weight make them cost prohibitive to ship.

3 kids later, this stroller lived up to the hype. I was a nonbeliever in overpriced strollers but this thing paid itself over multiple times. Expandable for multiple kids, glides easy, mesa car seat integration, plenty of storage and easy to pack away in a travel bag. Took it on 20+ flights and it's still chugging along.

I had the bassinet and stand v1 and it was not compatible with v2. You can buy an adapter but the clips are different. Also note the carseat and base expire which I think is a scam. But some hospitals check dates and won't let you go home with expired stuff after delivery

This post reminds me, I need to post my v1 set (2014) on FB and ebay. I think I paid around $900-1k back then for this exact v1 set - stroller, seat, & bassinet.

This uppababy is a really good sturdy stroller that is easy to push but very heavy. We use the summer 3dlite for traveling - it also reclines which is a must for us.

We got the stroller at full price as a babu shower gift from a generous family member, didn't even know these were a thing or expensive then.

As others said, it works well.

If you are looking for the most budget friendly or best bang for the buck stroller, this is not it. If you are looking for uppababy on sale, this is a solid deal.

Just because you are unable to value a product or see things from other people's perspective doesn't mean that others can't.

Also, anyone who slightly disagrees with me is a shill.

If someone is in the market for a used stroller with a lot of unknowns such as wear and tear and it meets their form fit and function; great. If someone wants a basic stroller such as a Graco and it fits their means and needs; great. If someone wants a Cybex, Nuna, Uppababy, Bugaboo or upscale brands because of their sturdy engineering with features such as suspension, material, brake system, easy of use, folding mechanisms, or lifestyle; great.

Don't hate on people by mentioning blanket terms like "keeping up with the Joneses" or market traps. Yes, profitability is built into a lot of products. So is research, safety, and engineering tests. Learn to understand their perspective. If you want to argue, use facts.

This is valid for any product:
Why buy a 2000$ OLED when a QLED is a fraction of the cost. Why buy Sony or Samsung instead of Spectre or TCL.

List goes on for cars, appliances, houses, phones, clothes.

What a bunch of pointless comments complaining about price points. Talk apples to apples. Such as engineering, material, Safety, and features for similarly priced products.

Just a fair note, all my baby stuff I tried to sell (maxi Cosi mid teir baby brand, DO NOT BUY THEIR STUFF JUNK) you will not get any resale out of them nor will any donation place accept any baby stuff (strollers, high chairs etc) YMMV with uppababy stuff as is seem to be the boogie brand for higher class folks. But I couldn't give a open box maxi Cosi stroller that was $400 away... Used it once and hated it. Sadly they woudont accept a return as it was not defective. Strongly recommend against most of their products

As someone who had kids about 10 years apart, i can tell you that these are trash and have just branded themseleves as high quality. you cant get more than one kid out of them because the wheel material is aweful and wears out even with light use. Also, if you arent aware, car seats expire. The contant movement and sitting in a hot car breaks down the foam that pads the seat in case of an accident. Buying one off facebook MP or something used would be like buying a used bike helmet. You dont know how its been treated and whether it has microcracks in it, or its been sitting in an attic dryrotting for the last 5 years. Get something that test well for a low price. Anything priced this hgih MSRP is just for the name brand only.

Just received the Vista V2. Great stroller, engineered to last. The frame, larger wheels, brake system, and maneuverability is top notch. The added bassinet, mosquito net, rain guard, and travel bag are great accessories to have included as well. Open and fold mechanism is easy. However, this is a stroller for city use with limited drivability and negligible travel in mind. The stroller is too bulky for everyday use for a suburban household where most places are driving distance away. It weighs 28lbs and 35lbs with seat attachment and lugging it at a theme park, airport, up a stair or anywhere really is going to be a hassle. The stroller does not have a strap like mechanism to lift the stroller, as you'll have to lift it with the frame itself. We only plan on having one child so having a stroller capable of multiple children is not for us as well.

We have decided to return it and ordered the Nuna triv next instead. Which meets our needs and lifestyle much more.

Great stroller. Just not for us. Even the Cruz v2 is rather large and bulky for reference.
