Use plastic kiddie pools to set around 4-5 in them and this will help retain water.

7 gallon are only 40 cents more, probably worth the upgrade.

I paid $1.54 after tax APIECE for some other brands 7 gallon per piece in a 12 pack, recently. They're fine. Have a bunch of basil, tomatoes and Japanese Maples growing in them. I mean no disrespect to op and don't mean to threadcap but I don't think this is nec. a big sd. It seems like growbag sellers on amazon rotate sales frequently.

Literally just ordered a 5 pack last night @ $12 might be a cancel rebuy situation.

Do you need to water more on this compared to raised bed or pot?

Yes. The bags are typically porous and will dry out quicker than beds.

Yes. The fabric is breathable so the soil gets dry faster. It is best to plant herbs or drought tolerant plants in these. Or if your area rains a lot, these can help prevent root rot.

Not sticking up for the seller, but to be fair… I didn't see them respond to ANY questions on the listing page.
