I wanted to point out that the free tickets now are "paid forward" by people who have seen the movie (probably for free) and then "paid it forward" so that others can see it and the message of this movie can spread. I saw the movie for free, and plan to pay it forward so others can see it now.
I also want to say that after working in a treatment center for 7 years with kids who have been through this stuff, it's real, and it's big business, with big money involved. Think the drug cartels have power? There is a ton of money in human trafficking. For those of you who think that it's a non issue... that there aren't people who are paid to discourage others from watching this movie, from detracting and spreading misinformation about child trafficking, and downplaying it's seriousness, you're in for a shock. They're even here on Slickdeals and it's pretty obvious. They tend to have done a "lot of research" about Tim Ballard, OUR, etc, and will try and discredit the movie, its creators, its message, in any way they can.
Don't buy into their garbage. Go see the movie. It's free... I'm happily paying for it for you, and there's no better deal than free.
Make sure you don't have any AMC Stubs credit, otherwise it will try to use that first. The way around is it to attempt to book something, then while the credit is tied up do another booking and then the credit won't be applied.

First of all the theater was packed for the showing I attended - probably running at 80 to 90 percent capacity.
The movie was really well done in every aspect - the acting, the characters, sets, sound, filming, etc. It even manages to make a very dark and disturbing theme (the child sex trade) into something of a feel good movie (at the end) when you find out the heroic deeds were based on a real story and they show actual photos and film of what actually happened.
As a non-believer, I'd like to address the idea of whether or not this is a "Christian movie" and if it would appeal to other non-believers / atheists. My answer is 'yes'. First off you can toss aside the notion that this is some cheesy Ned Flanders production that you might expect from a Christian movie. It is highly professional. They even have a few curse words here and there (stronger than 'damn' or 'hell') that you might not expect to hear in a "Christian movie". Does it attempt to convert people into Christianity? I would say 'no'. The film's main character for sure acts in accordance with what he considers to be morality in-line with his beliefs in God. That's brought up more than once but not at all what I consider to be a heavy handed way. Besides, if the real-life person took heroic action based on his beliefs (whether or not you agree with them), doesn't that at least deserve a few mentions in the movie? I say 'yes' (there was a George Foreman movie released earlier this year that was the same way and I also thought it was good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urKDu40
I'd like to recommend a fairly similar (non-religious) movie released earlier this year - The Covenant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02PPMPA
Summary: American military guy joins up with a native Afghani who is a translator. The translator winds up saving his life and the lives of the troops under his command more than once, in some cases taking extraordinary and extremely risky measures to do so. This translator is not a popular figure in the eyes of the Taliban. When the American military completely pulls out of Afghanistan, the lives of the translator and his family are at serious risk. The American is eaten alive about this. So much so that he feels it's his moral obligation to hire a small private army as backup and return to Afghanistan to rescue the translator and his family.
I'll throw one more out there while I'm here released in 2023 that is religious (based on a true story) - The Jesus Revolution (with Kelsey Grammar)

Christian or not, you'll learn about some interesting American history you probably knew nothing about. There are also very good lessons you can learn about outreach and communication even if you have no intention or desire to apply them towards religion
I give iheart media kudos for advertising this movie on their stations' websites and giving out free ticket.
It is funny though how they are now advertising it as the #1 movie on 4th of July. Creative accounting geniuses. Why hasn't anybody thought about doing this. Give all of your tickets for free! Lol
