I wanted to point out that the free tickets now are "paid forward" by people who have seen the movie (probably for free) and then "paid it forward" so that others can see it and the message of this movie can spread. I saw the movie for free, and plan to pay it forward so others can see it now.
I also want to say that after working in a treatment center for 7 years with kids who have been through this stuff, it's real, and it's big business, with big money involved. Think the drug cartels have power? There is a ton of money in human trafficking. For those of you who think that it's a non issue... that there aren't people who are paid to discourage others from watching this movie, from detracting and spreading misinformation about child trafficking, and downplaying it's seriousness, you're in for a shock. They're even here on Slickdeals and it's pretty obvious. They tend to have done a "lot of research" about Tim Ballard, OUR, etc, and will try and discredit the movie, its creators, its message, in any way they can.
Don't buy into their garbage. Go see the movie. It's free... I'm happily paying for it for you, and there's no better deal than free.
Make sure you don't have any AMC Stubs credit, otherwise it will try to use that first. The way around is it to attempt to book something, then while the credit is tied up do another booking and then the credit won't be applied.

Posting online anywhere probably helps spread the word and people are more aware of the movie and the issue. And telling others too.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I don't see any showings next weekend but that might change. They are positioning themselves as David vs. the Goliath(Indiana Jones) in the media.
Btw, for those who already watched this movie, is it too much if I bring my 6 yrs & 11 yrs old kid to watch this movie? I don't want to scare the young kids too much if possible. Thanks.
