You can probably get all this for around $400 on eBay if you buy them individually.
These are definitely NOT top of the line. These are more like bottom of the line. For example, dewalt's "top of the line" 1/4" impact is the DFC850. It's their first and only good 1/4" impact.

Besides the light, these are def not filler items. May not quite be top of the line, but close to it... I'd say best w/o the bulk.
The drill is a very good one, and the hammer version. The 999/998 (top) is huge.
887 driver used to be their top dawg, and many in the trades still see it as that. Wasnt dethroned by a ton.
Recip is XR, next models up gain a lot of heft.
Circular saw is so so, great for home user and many contractors but a 7¼" would best.
Pretty sure sander is the best they offer for that style.
Multi-tool is their top model and a very good tool to have.
Charger is meh, not worst but nothing special.
Batteries are good, although prob want more with this big of a kit.
And the roller bag is prob pretty nice for getting all these tools, arguably better than a carry bag.
Also, 2nd hand you're not going to get any official warranty...
Yes there are better, but this is aimed towards a home user that's trying to be serious and throw down a bit of cash. Most don't need the extra heft the best (read:strongest) tools carry.
Not 100% sure as I don't usually pay attention to the bigger kit pricing, but I think this is a normal-ish price. So no need to jump unless you just need it now.
Might be some better stuff soon for Prime Day...

I'm against brushed. I don't see any real benefits and there are far too many cheap brushless options & deals that even those on a budget can afford brushed.
