No matter how many scissors and utility knives I own, there is never one there when I need one.

I cannot even begin to imagine the quantity I would need to ensure I have one handy. It must literally be 20,000.

Nah. Lockback with thumb stud. Keep grit out of them and keep them oiled and they'll be around awhile.

I find roughly 25 pairs around the house usually prevents frustration. Still may have to look but not too long. Same with utility knives so this is the perfect set.
