These one piece Kohlers look great but they're a nightmare to repair or maintain. All the parts are nonstandard, proprietary parts from Kohler. For example, the lid bolts are "hidden" and not accessible from under the toilet like normal. They are intentionally poorly designed to fail and to be extremely expensive and difficult to replace. I'm talking $30+ for a plastic bolt. Never again. Get a regular 2 piece from Home Depot for a hundred bucks and set it and forget it for 20 years.

6'2" here. Comfort Height just gets me to normal Wink

I never had an issue with a 2-piece. If you have to do any painting or tile work, it's a lot less cumbersome to move around.

Aren't hidden toilet seat expansion bolts like less than $10 on Amz or Wally world?

The universal ones don't fit. Trust me, I've tried them all. The opening is large but the clearance inside the shell is tiny. I had to hack it with a really small expanding "wing" bolt and even that didn't work very well.
